Popeye Enters The Public Domain Sadly we’re probably now going to get a stupid horror film based on the original Popeye shorts. Is there any way to avoid the public domain entirely? Other than making more new stuff based on said material that stays protected under copyright for years to come. Also thanks for letting him beat up that disgrace to Winnie the Pooh.
