Mickey Mouse After Public Domain It should be noted that only the original version of Mickey Mouse from Steamboat Willie (1928) is now in the public domain. The modern depictions of him as seen in Fantasia (1940) onwards are still protected under copyright and owned by Disney. I don’t think they will let go of Mickey Mouse completely. Overall I get the point of the joke with the drawing and it having the “Fuck (Modern) Disney” message.
I like movies, video games, professional wrestling, manga and anime, as well as collecting action figures and other things. I also enjoy watching cartoons. One of my favorite hobbies is drawing.
