I feel the exact same way. I too want to make games myself but that’s never going to happen because this bullshit world tries to convince people in order to succeed in life you have to go to college. That or be born in a successful family or by becoming a career criminal. College is overrated and not for everyone. I could maybe work as a concept artist for video games but that’s probably about it. I blame the world and my parents for holding me back and not giving me enough time to think about my future. As a kid I thought once I had reached adulthood the self motivation would kick at some point. But now I’m an adult and life’s a whole lot worse. The motivation never kicked in and my parents are still holding me back! So I pretty much have given up on making games and decided I want to make low budget indie films instead. If I can ever get my drivers license and find people and supplies, as well as the fundings. Or simply just be an artist. As art is one of my natural talents. These characters look really cool by the way. And I hope you understand the way I feel.

Sounds harsh. Instead of blaming the world and others for things you can't do, you should show what you're really capable of, the best you can. Don't let others get you down from what you want to do in life.
