I feel the exact same way. They are trying to make us believe technology is making our lives better when in reality it’s just making our lives worse and causing us to become lazy and gradually overtime more stupid! I often say I hate humanity (with some exceptions) but I would rather live with humanity over artificial intelligence.

Yeah, the rich and powerful constantly sell the public some brand new neat little device that will change our lives. This new app will keep track of this, this new pill can shave the weight right off, this new phone can take prettier pictures so you can boost your followers and likes, you should watch the news 24/7 to stay updated on how horrible the world is, this advanced A.I. program can generate images and videos in seconds!

Obviously I do love modern technology and am very glad to live in an age where I can just open up a computer and any question I have can be answered in an instant. But the problem is that it gets shoved down our throats. Elites love to throw useless, cheaply made, overpriced, harmful junk at people and sell it to us as solutions for problems in society that they themselves are responsible for, and actively perpetuate.

The real issue is the system that allows these problems to happen to begin with. It is the fact that we celebrate greed and admonish kindness and generosity. The only reason that a few greedy sociopaths have so much power over the world we live in is because we let them have that power. The power they have over us is imaginary. The value of money is imaginary. All we need to do is simply stop giving a shit about things that don't truly matter, create a world that is truly designed to suit the human spirit, and their empires built on greed and hatred will crumble in a day.

Cool. I still wonder how Magikarp used to be just as powerful as his evolved counterpart Gyarados but over time he became very weak. Is it possible to train Magikarp enough to make him somewhat useful?
