Bardock, the Brilliant Scientist That’s pretty funny. When I first heard Vegeta use that dialogue on TV I didn’t put much thought into that. Nowadays I could look at it as that Bardock had a really scientific mind and was smarter than most Saiyan warriors which could help fix this dubbing error. It’s even stated still in Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 that the Power Ball technique was created by Bardock.

Bowser Well he did have a flamethrower in the live action film if you want to count that. He even ordered some of his men to shoot Mario and Luigi in the movie. The flamethrower also could’ve been the substitute for his fire breath.
