I remember when I first heard about the urban myth, it creeped me out. The idea of a game that gives you nightmares and other symptoms was really freaky... to the point where I even stayed away from the videos of the fan-made games in fear that they were "the real thing". But as it currently stands, it's just a cool little gaming urban legend.

Have you seen Ahoy's video on YouTube covering Polybius? He did a lot of research into the story, how it spread, debunking some "ex-employee" stories, and who was responsible for creating it. Highly recommend it!
