I try to be happy as much as I can but a lot of times I still end up feeling pretty gloomy. I think I’m a lot better than I used to be but some of the gloominess is still there.

Cool. Is the game itself any good? I know it’s a definitely a weird game for sure. They start of as fish like creatures and once they are fully grown they are more amphibious and frog like.

It's pretty fun if you enjoy pet sims and yelling at pixels :P
It's one of those things where you don't play it all in one big session so you just check back every now and then
