Update on My Feeling Bored Status

Posted by SolidSnakeOnAPlane - October 28th, 2023

What do you think I should do to get rid of the boredom I’ve been having for this past month or so? I understand users who post art that I like will take breaks sometimes but I’ve been getting kinda impatient lately with waiting for them to post more art that I like. Their art has gotten kinda to the point I look forward to seeing a new post each day and it’s also seemed to inspire some of my modern art. Should I just take a break myself? What do you suggest I do?

What do you suggest I do to rid myself of this boredom. While I still like using this site, when a user who’s art you like has been absent for a while it makes me not feel like getting on here as much. But that’s just how the current situation makes me feel.

I've been dealing with boredom by either reading a book (Dune), making a YTP, browsing The Lost Media Forum, watching movies on Archive.org or simply walking around my home.

I’d love to learn how to make YTPs myself. I kinda just want to be able to tell the user that their art has kinda started to inspire my art as well (i.e. drawing the same characters in cute scenarios) but even on YouTube it’s been pretty boring on there as well. I made a DeviantArt account a while back did nothing with it and now I can’t even remember the password let alone figure out how to change my password, etc.

@SolidSnakeOnAPlane --- YTP creations is a mix of process of trial and expermentation, watching tutorials, reading the these threads:

Knowing which editing software you use, finding inspirations outside of YTPs or Internet (like from video games, TV Shows, films, books or even old real-life recordings... or atleast that's what NKpower said once), having patience with masking in Vegas/Premiere, having some plugins. Also watching other YTPers, even the niche ones, might help.
Also here's some recommended Poopers:

Please do not care about how many views you get while making these, good YTPs barely got any views anyway.

It seems like you developed some degree of dependency to Newgrounds. Not only that, but I assume that you're still on hiatus, like I (still) am. My best advice is to do what makes you happy. Everyone who is following you will understand.

Thanks for the advice.
