What’s the most controversial thing you own? I can name at least three for me.
- THE MOST controversial thing I own is probably a bootleg VHS of Song of the South (1946). It was never officially released on home media in the U.S. but it was released overseas. It’s kind of a bit unfair if you ask me. The one I have is even labeled as Disney’s Banned Video. I’m not racist in any way but I think any fan of classic 2D animated Disney films should have a copy of Song of the South (1946) in their collection.
- An official MGM DVD release of Clownhouse (1989). It was pulled from shelves a week after it was released due to the controversy that took place behind the scenes with the director and the lead actor.
- The rarest PS2 game Rule of Rose. Only 15,000 copies were released and the game itself was banned in some countries.
