No The hackers didn’t actually mess things up with your brothers account the only reason that guy said it is because they did mess with many accounts which caused the 2 Step Email feature to get added which is what your brother has bent dealing with for awhile

Yeah my brother is a blank slate account with no content posted but I just can’t seem to figure out why he can’t get logged in. It was perfectly fine when he signed in for the very first time sometime last year. And now he hasn’t been able to sign in since late December and early January.
